This website is operated by IQSOUNDS LLC. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to IQSounds. IQSounds offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. 1) ABOUT IQSounds

IQSounds is in the business of selling downloadable products in the form of digital audio recordings, music production software and other related materials, for use by, but not limited to, musicians, music producers, composers, film editors and web designers.

2) LICENSE AGREEMENT

All products from www.iqsounds.com  are sold as "royalty free" or "master clearance guaranteed"  which means that they are licensed, not sold to you, by IQSounds. IQSounds. is either the owner or entitled licensee of the products on sale. By making a payment for a product you are granted the right to incorporate them in a music production, film, TV program, website or other media production, without paying any additional royalties, license fees, or any other fees to IQSounds or any third parties unless otherwise stated in additional licensing materials or product descriptions.
 
3) USAGE AND COPYRIGHT

Copying, re-selling, leasing, duplicating or distribution in any form of the products for sale, other than outlined in the 'License Agreement', is strictly prohibited. This extends, but is not limited, to file sharing websites, web forums, computer networks and file hosting websites. Products cannot be distributed in their original format or sold in a manner that would be considered competitive with the nature of IQSounds' business model, outlined in "About IQSounds". Everything else on the website is licensed to IQSounds LLC, including artwork, source code, materials, audio demos, graphics, text and logos and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

4) SECURITY AND REGISTRATION

You do not have to be registered with IQSounds to view the website, but to purchase products you must provide certain information, including a user name, password and valid email address. Once these are provided they will be kept on file by IQSounds. This information will be used by IQSounds as outlined in the "Privacy Policy."

Your data will always be secure with us and will never be sold to any third party companies.

5) PAYMENT AND DOWNLOADING PRODUCTS

Payments are taken on behalf of IQSounds LLC by PayPal, Stripe and Coinbase. After payment you will be taken to a page of your account, where you can download your product(s).

6) DISCLAIMER AND WAIVER

IQSounds will be held harmless against any losses, judgement, claims, legal fees or court costs that may arise out of a breach of these terms and conditions. By entering this agreement you agree not to sue or recover any damages from IQSounds and any affiliated companies or people as a result of its decision to terminate or suspend this agreement.

While IQSounds will take reasonable and sufficient steps to ensure that the website is free from any viruses, Trojans, malware, spyware, harmful software, data theft or any unauthorized malicious activity, IQSounds makes no guarantees on this subject and will not be held liable for any loss resulting from this.

7) DISCOUNTS AND OFFERS

IQSounds will sometimes offer promotional offers and discounts for a very limited time. Such offers can change on a daily basis, in order to keep up with the fair market demand.

For our "BUY 2 GET 1 FREE" offer, the customer would be able to benefit from such offer only when he/she adds three (3) different products to his or her cart.

This discount will be applied automatically, and the product with the lowest price tag will be the one you will receive for free.

We do not guarantee that you will receive a free pack if you have placed two different orders for a single product each, while taking a different discount (such as a promotional code) on either one of them.

8) WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH IQSOUNDS TEMPLATES

8.1) PERSONAL, EDUCATIONAL, PRODUCTION USE ( “AS IS”, WITH OUR ORIGINAL MELODIES)
    • Deconstruct and learn arrangement, structure, sound processing, automation, etc
    • Practice in mixing and mastering
    • Practice in composition, arrangement, etc
    • Use samples, presets, processing racks from templates for your own commercial productions
    • Play at home
    • Play at the club/festival/party
    • Use in a live theatrical performance 

8.2) COMMERCIAL USE OF TEMPLATE-BASED PRODUCTIONS

You can use template-based music for commercial purposes if you changed/modified all the main melodies. That's our minimum requirement. You can keep drum samples, drum patterns, track structure, effects, synth presets, processing, etc.

If you changed all the main melodies then you can:

  • Use templates as a starting point for your own commercial productions
  • Release on a record label, iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, etc
  • Use for TV, web or radio advertisement
  • Use in videos, films, trailers, apps, games, or other multimedia
  • Use as part of a product available for purchase in a store or online

However, we recommend you to make deeper template modification (change synth presets, some drum samples, effects) if you're going to release template-based track on a record label.

9) WHAT YOU CANNOT DO WITH IQSOUNDS TEMPLATES AND TEMPLATE-BASED MUSIC

Re-sell or share the project (modified or not) or any samples/presets from the project

  • Claim exclusive ownership or authorship of the track without modifying original melodies
  • Use for creating sample libraries and royalty-free music

10) LICENSING FAQ

10.1) CAN I RENDER THE TEMPLATE 'AS IS' AND RELEASE IT ON A RECORD LABEL?

No, you can not. You should make significant changes into template. For example, change the root note, melody, sound processing, add your own ideas and sounds, etc. The main and minimum requirement is to change all the main melodies.

10.2) ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS FOR USING SAMPLES AND PRESETS FROM THE TEMPLATE I PURCHASED?

All samples and presets used in our products are royalty-free. You can use separate samples and presets in your own music productions. You are allowed to create the unlimited number of music productions based on one template. Any kind of separate distribution is strictly prohibited.
